Commercial Business Development Officer Job Description, Function and Responsibilities

NOTE: Responsibilities shall include but shall not be limited to the following:

  • Developing and cultivating new clients and business opportunities for sale of title insurance and related products nationwide
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop referral sources
  • Provide marketing and event coordination support
  • Assist with the development of marketing programs and implement respectively
  • Work closely with Commercial Escrow team to ensure client satisfaction
  • Attend events and functions geared towards networking and business development
  • Create a positive image of the company through a professional appearance, actions, and conduct to fellow employees and customers


The Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Must have a substantial and transferable book of business with an active network of contacts
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Robust critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Sales and marketing experience
  • Understanding of basic title and escrow services and real estate transactions
